Everyone Wants Truckies to Start Communicating

After an NHVR campaign a few weeks ago and a new Teletrac Navman initiative, it seems everyone wants truckies to start communicating.

The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator was asking trucking people to ‘Tell a Mate’ about how to drive and behave safely around trucks. Now, Teletrac Navman are asking for truckies to send in their safety tips to enter a draw to win a prepaid gift card.

Everyone Wants Truckies to Start Communicating

The ‘#TipsFromSafeDrivers’ contest, is inviting truck drivers to share their words of wisdom on how to improve road safety for both themselves and the average public road user. Every submission is in the draw to win a $100 Visa prepaid gift card, the winning entry chosen upon competition close (31st May 2018) and the winning entry will be contacted personally.

Teletrac Navman reckon truck drivers see all kinds of on-road behaviour from the advantage of sitting up high in their cabs, the good, the bad and the ugly, and have a lot to teach us about how to keep our roads as safe as possible.

In recognition of Road Safety week, and up until May 31, 2018, drivers can submit their safety tips along with a photo of themselves via the entry form on the competition website.

Teletrac Navman say they will not share your email address or phone number or post it publicly, but they will share your safety tips and photo on the Truckers4Safety website.

To enter the competition just go to the entry website.

“If you work with drivers in any capacity, we invite you to help us honour truckers and their safety by letting them know about this contest and encouraging them to share their safety tips,” says the Teletrac Navman announcement.
