Hartex crushes filter disposal costs

Used oil filters are one of the most costly components to recycle in an environmentally friendly manner due to their relative bulk and the quantity of oil that remains inside after removal.

Addressing both issues simultaneously, Hartex Engineering has introduced the TITAN 100 Oil Filter Crusher that’s designed to compact filters to 25 percent of their original size while removing 95 percent of the residual oil.

Able to crush filters of up to 343 mm height and 248 mm diameter, the operation takes between 10 and 15 seconds to complete.
