A new range of electrical connector assortments covering Deutsch, AMP and Waterproof (Delphi-type) connector variants has been released. According to Narva, the new products provide users with the most widely used connectors in each category, all housed in ‘fisher’ cases.
The Deutsch DT series high end connectors are designed for harsh environmental conditions, where even the slightest degradation in connection is critical. The range includes 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 12 way male and female connectors, all featuring solid copper terminals for easy crimping.
The connectors also make use of thermoplastic housings (rated at temperatures ranging from -55°C to 125°C) and with silicone seals designed to withstand extreme temperatures and excessive moisture. With their watertight connection properties (IP67) and amperage rating of 13A, the Deutsch connectors are designed specifically for mining and transport applications.
The AMP Super Seal connector range of connectors is also designed to meet the performance requirements of automotive, transport and mining applications, with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 way male and female variants. These connectors feature polyamide glass-filled housings rated from -40°C to 125°C, and silicone rubber seals which help the products achieve a watertight connection (IP67). The connectors are rated at 14A and feature pre-assembled secondary locks to ensure correct and complete insertion of the contact in the housing.
For automotive and transport applications where regular and ongoing exposure to water is expected, the Narva Waterproof connector range includes 1, 2, 3 and 4 way male and female connectors which are rated at 20A and use polyamide plastic housings and silicon seals designed to repel moisture while still withstanding high temperatures.
