New Linfox boss

Linfox have announced the new CEO of Linfox Logistics, almost twelve months after the former CEO, Michael Byrne, announced his intention to leave. Linfox Chairman Peter Fox mad the announcement, naming Linfox General Counsel and Company Secretary Annette Carey as the new CEO of Linfox Logistics for Australia and New Zealand.
She has been Acting CEO of Linfox Logistics since September 2014.

“Annette has played a significant role in the business, guiding our growth and future positioning and has overwhelmingly demonstrated sound judgement, clear business leadership and sound commercial acumen,” said Peter Fox.

Carey joined Linfox 14 years ago from Lend Lease Corporation and law firms Mallesons and Allens. In 2009, she was appointed President Legal and later, General Counsel and Company Secretary.

“Along with our CEO Asia, Gabrielle Costigan we continue to strengthen Linfox’s position as a supply chain leader across the Asia Pacific,” said Peter Fox.

“The pace of change and the opportunities for our business are surging ahead. We’re confident that as a privately owned company our strong foot print across the Asia Pacific and depth of supply chain experience is difficult to match.”
