New Top Man at ZF

A new top man at ZF Services Australia has been announced. The new Managing Director of ZF in Australia is to be Mark Sookias. He is an experienced business leader with over 17 years in senior management positions at multinational organisations across a variety of industries.

Mark Sookias, the new Managing Director of ZF Services Australia

Sookias’ most recent role was Executive General Manager at automotive parts distributor, Motospecs, a division of Genuine Parts Company Asia Pacific, which he held for over eight years.

According to a statement from ZF,  Sookias brings to the company a wealth of knowledge and industry experience and an aim to take the business to the next level.

“I have always been impressed by the quality offering ZF has made available in the marketplace in Australia and New Zealand,” said Sookias. “ZF Services has a unique position in the Australian market, with its high quality range of products and services for the OEM and aftermarket that penetrates multiple market segments across various industry sectors.

“I am looking forward to working with the team to deliver our strategic goals and take ZF Services forward in Australia, New Zealand and Oceania.”

Sookias replaces Christopher Adcock who has relocated to the United Kingdom to take up the role of Managing Director, ZF Services UK.

Sookias’ role as Managing Director is effective as of July 4, his role will se him responsible for the management of ZF Services in Oceania.
