November will see the opening of an all-new new trailer dealership in the Western Sydney suburb of Smeaton Grange. The new MaxiTrans facility is set to offer customers new and used trailer sales, service and repair facilities on site. The 20,000 m2 dealership will replace the former agency for the trailer brands, based in Chipping Norton.
“The addition of a wholly owned MaxiTrans dealership in Sydney furthers our ongoing investment into providing high levels of customer service through our industry-leading sales, parts, service and repair network,” said Michael Brockhoff, Maxitrans Managing Director. “Our Sydney location will offer sales of each of our leading trailer brands and be able to complete all fibreglass, aluminium and steel repairs.”
The new dealership is said to complement the company’s existing sales offices in the Riverina and Central Coast, giving the brands broad coverage in the state.
In addition, MaxiTrans have announced the appointment of Peter Le Comte as General Manager of the new NSW Branch. Brockhoff asserted Peter has built a long career servicing the needs of road transport operators, with roles in management, sales, service and parts for companies such as Paccar, Mack and Iveco.
“Peter has a demonstrated track record for building and developing a customer service culture and has successfully run some of the biggest heavy vehicle dealerships both here in Australia and in the USA,” said Brockhoff. “He understands what it takes to run a successful retail facility.”
The new MaxiTrans dealership is to be located at 5 Anzac Avenue, Smeaton Grange, in Sydney’s South West, four kilometres from the Hume Freeway.
