Roadworthiness Baseline Survey Information now Online 

Fuller National Roadworthiness Baseline Survey information is now available online. The survey which is expected to sample approximately 9,000 of Australia’s 520,000 heavy vehicles is being organised by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator and is due to commence on August 1.

New details have now been added to the NHVR website. giving information about the planning and coordination of the survey. This includes a sheet of frequently asked questions. plus an inspection procedure overview. 

 

There is also information on the guidance given to the Inspection Service Providers around the detail of the inspection, information on fatigue to assist in determining whether time during the inspection would constitute work or rest; and draft paper versions of the data recording forms (most surveys will have their results recorded electronically).

 

Additionally, at 2pm on Tuesday July 26 there is a NRBS webinar to provide additional information to industry.
