new choice from DPF Cleaning Queensland

An expensive brand-new Diesel Particulate Filter is now not the only solution to a blocked unit, with the offer of a new choice from DPF Cleaning Queensland.

With trialled, tested and proven-to-work methods, DPF Cleaning Queensland has an alternative, it can clean Diesel Particulate Filters, saving operators and their customers thousands of dollars.

What is a DPF?

A Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is fitted to all modern diesel cars and trucks to satisfy emission laws. The DPF traps harmful carcinogenic particles that are produced by the engine and disposes of them safely during the vehicle’s regeneration. This process happens automatically, and in most vehicles, is not noticeable by the driver.

What are the most common faults?

Short trips

It can take 10 to 20 minutes for a DPF to regenerate, plus five minutes for the vehicle to reach normal operating temperature. If a vehicle drives only short distances, the DPF does not have time to regenerate and keep itself clean.

Split air induction hose

When the induction hose splits, air which was intended for the engine escapes, however the vehicles computer still registers that the air has entered the engine and injects what it thinks is the “correct” amount of fuel into the system. The result? Excessive fuel, making the exhaust very dirty. The DPF cannot regenerate soot at this intensity and the DPF becomes blocked.

The benefits of cleaning versus replacement

Lower cost – replacing a vehicle’s DPF can cost anywhere from $1,500 to $6,000 or more, depending on the vehicle. At DPF Cleaning Queensland, we can have the DPF cleaned and ready to work for substantially less, saving you and your clients thousands.

Keep your customers happy – we know that customers are what keep businesses rolling and keeping them happy certainly helps. By offering them a more affordable solution for their blocked DPF that cuts their costs and decreases vehicle downtime, you are going to have happy customers that keep coming back.

Reduces waste, cleaning DPFs rather than replacing them is a form of recycling which reduces waste.
